This suite is written in four parts: Trumpet Menuet, Sonatina, Menuett and Hunting Jig. "Early English Suite" is a concert band classic, and should be a part of every band's repertoire.

Technical Notes: The baritone BC part has the baritone TC part on the reverse side. The flute part has a D Flat flute part on the reverse side. The timpani part is labeled "Timpani (Bells)". The percussion part is labeled "Triangle, Cymbal, Snare Drum and Bass Drum."
The second and third movements of the percussion part are marked "Tacet".
