"Gloria 'N Cielo" is a 13th century laude (hymn of praise in Italian language). As most hymns of this period, "Gloria 'N Cielo" is monophonic and should be played with no keyboard accompaniment. There is a single trumpet line (written for C trumpet) that is beautiful and fits the song very well. Medieval hymns, such as this work, are great at holiday shows and other performances, especially as a processional.
