Fritz Kreisler's name is very well-known to lovers of violin music. His performance and composition skills are widely recognized and admired. Austrian born and raised, Kreisler became an American citizen in 1943, and lived there until his death in 1962. The 12 compositions in this "Volume 4" collection will provide wonderful recital or performance pieces that you are sure to enjoy. They were primarily composed in the early part of the 20th century. Several of these pieces were written "in the styles of" other respected composers. Violin and piano music are printed separately in this collection. "Study On A Chorale" is unaccompanied.
