In 1775, at the ripe old age of 19, Mozart decided to write a few violin concerti. His efforts that year provided us with five of the greatest such works in musical history. Here is his first effort which is a beautiful classical violin concerto, with all the Mozart trademarks. We also include the "Rondo Concertant", which Mozart wrote as a replacement third movement for this concerto, though it later became a popular piece on its own standing!

| Audio Samples | There are two CDs included with this product. The CDs are identical, except that CD 2 is recorded at a slower tempo than CD 1. You'll want to use CD 2 as you're first learning the concerto. Tracks 1- 20 are demonstration tracks that include both the solist and the orchestral accompaniment. Track 21 is a tuning note track. Tracks 22 - 44 are performance tracks that include only the orchestral accompaniment. You'll use tracks 22 - 44 for your own performances.
