The two upper parts can be played on trumpets, and the lowest part on the trombone, tenor horn or baritone horn. (In addition to the score and the two trumpet parts, this publication also includes the lowest part written in the treble clef and one in the bass clef as well.)

Technical Notes: These pieces are arranged for brass trio. Parts one and two are for b flat trumpet. Part three is for your choice of either flugelhorn or trombone - sheet music is provided for both instruments, and you can use either one. If you're short on flugelhorns and trombones, you could easily substitute a trumpet player for the third part, making a traditional trumpet trio rather than a mixed ensemble.
