Thomas Doss was commissioned to compose this work for the musical society in Oberndorf, Germany. It describes the growth from a local village band to a symphonic wind band. The character and life of this piece are two very important aspects of the work. It must be performed with energy and style. As the march goes along, you will notice the piece getting a bit more difficult. Accents and articulation markings happen throughout this wonderful work. Do not forget to include.
