"Beginning Clarinet Solos, Volume One" is part of the Laureate Series of Contest Solos. Clarinetists will derive both pleasure and skills when using these recordings. They feature some of the most talented soloists, who are first chair players with major orchestras. Each piece is performed by the soloist, then the accompaniment is provided for the at-home player. The compositions are all drawn from widely used State Contest pieces, and graded for each level. The scores are annotated by the soloist, noted clarinetist Jerome Bunke. Suggestions for their performance are included. This is like a Master Class!
This book/CD package includes a high-quality printed music score, with performance suggestions. A compact disc with complete versions (with soloist) is followed by piano accompaniments for each piece, minus the soloist.
