This piece was composed by Michael Kamen, 1948-2003. It is a challenging work to perform. The tempo is very slow and breathing is critical throughout. This work was written for the Canadian Brass Quintet. Since Kamens's untimely death from heart failure in 2003, this work has become a tribute to him.
