It was premiered at Avery Fisher Hall in New York City on November 28, 1998, with Mr. Gould directing the American Symphony Orchestra. This is a classic piece for tenor saxophone (and it is NOT a transcription!) that all good saxophone players should have in their printed sheet music libraries. This edition includes a piano reduction of the orchestral score.
