Technical Notes: In our parts/instrumentation list, we've noted that parts were provided for two first flutes, two second flutes, two alto flutes, and two bass flutes. To be more accurate, though, please note: parts are provided for two distinct flute choirs, each consisting of one first flute, one second flute, one alto flute, and one bass flute. To cover all eight parts, you'll need four flutists, two alto flutists, and two bass flutists. (More performers would be great, but you'll want at least eight flutists.) |
