We are very excited to offer you this major publication for violin. It is based on the critical edition by Albert Dunning with fingering and preparatory exercises by Enzo Porta. It is part of Locatelli's monumental "L'Arte del Violino", first published in 1733. These twenty-four capriccios document the rise of virtuoso playing in the 18th century. Dunning's beautiful edition has an extensive introduction, playing explanations and preparatory exercises. It is a must have for all violinist.
