Norman Gimbel is credited with the lyrics to a number of award winning songs over several decades. This book includes fifty of his finest. His first hit was "Bluesette", followed by the English language adaptation of "Girl From Ipanema". He joined with Michel Legrand with "I Will Wait For You" and "Watch What Happens", before teaming up with Charles Fox for a series of popular songs. Roberta Flack topped the charts with their Grammy award winning Song of the Year "Killing Me Softly With His Song". "I Got A Name" from "Last American Hero" was one of their movie hits, then along came the Barry Manilow hit "Ready To Take A Chance Again" from "Foul Play". The TV period in the Gimbel and Fox partnership offered such hits as the themes from "Happy Days", "Laverne And Shirley" ("Making Our Dreams Come True"), and "Wonder Woman". This folio includes so many piano and vocal (with guitar chords) arrangements that there is surely something to appeal to everyone.
