"Two Pictures" by modern composer Phillip Lambro is an enticing composition for the solo percussionist and orchestra. By using a wide variety of percussion instruments, the composer was able to paint a beautiful picture and added a dimension to music that is rarely seen by featuring the percussion. This piece works wonderfully if you want to show off the skills of a virtuoso percussionist as it requires skill, control, and knowledge of how to use each instrument properly. Please note that the piano accompaniment is for two pianos.
