Here is a great selection of the best literature for the violin, suitable for intermediate-level violinists. These works will challenge and delight the performer as well as the audience. Geoffrey Applegate, noted American violinist, performs these pieces, then stands aside so you can step in and perform with the Stuttgart Symphony Orchestra conducted by Emil Kahn.
This book/CD package consists of a printed music score and a compact disc which includes two versions of each song from the book. The first version is a complete version with soloist, that you can practice along with. The second version is a full stereo orchestral accompaniment, minus the soloist, that you will use for performances!
