Dirait-on is the final movement in Morten Lauridsen's choral cycle, Les Chansons des Roses, based on poems by Rainer Maria Rilke. Dirait-on is written in the style of a French folk songand its popularity inspired Scott Tennant of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet to ask for a guitar arrangement. A recording of this arrangement is availableseparately on the quartet's album Air and Ground (Sony Classical SNYC 89100). For advanced players.
