Welcome to the "Master Solos" series of instrumental solos. This series of solos conforms to many of the requirements of the numerous state solo and ensemble contest festivals. Songs have been chosen so that each piece will present the elements of performance necessary for evaluation as well as adhere to time requirements. This percussion edition includes a variety of solos from a variety of styles suitable for snare drum, field drum, tom-toms, tympani, and mallet percussion. Included in this package are performance notes for each song, music for piano accompaniment, and a CD which includes a performance of each solo as well as a practice/accompaniment track.
