Brahms' magnificent "Clarinet Quintet In B Minor" is one of the summits of the chamber repertoire for clarinet. This music is in many ways an homage to Mozart's classic quintet for clarinet and should be a part of any serious clarinetist's repertoire. Our special edition comes with two CDs. The first CD is a demonstration recording by some of the world's finest musicians. The second CD has two performances of the complete work. The first performance is in the original key of B minor, and is the one you'll use if you have an "A" clarinet. If you wish to perform this work using a B Flat clarinet, you'll use the second performance on disc 2, which is in C minor (transposed one full step from the original).
