One of the great songs from "Golden Boy" was this chart by Lee Adams and Charles Strouse. It features a great melody and a cool bass line. Rick Stitzel has arranged this work for your beginning jazz ensemble without taking away from the quality of the work. There are many unison lines in each section of the band, that will help keep wrong notes to a minimum. The work is pretty straight-forward and this will help keep everyone together.
