If you are looking for the perfect ballad to complete your next program, then you might consider this excellent piece. Rick Stitzel has arranged it for your jazz ensemble with a alto saxophone feature. The lead alto saxophone part has the solo melody throughout the work and also a nice written out solo. Your soloist could alse choose to ad lib. The work starts off pretty straight forward. It is a slow ballad until it moves to double time and that is when the soloist gets the chance to shine. The accompanying parts are beautiful, and have nice full chords. It is a perfect work to have on any concert.
