| | Heitor Villa-Lobos - Suite Populaire Bresilienne Heitor Villa-Lobos was a well-known and respected guitarist and composer from Brazil. During the first half of the 1900s, he composed many pieces for a variety of instruments, including this one for guitar. Originally composed in the 1920s, and revised several times, it wasn't until 1955 that it was actually published. These compositions are reminiscent of his experience as a member of a Brazilian choro band in his younger years.
