On this terrific new instructional video, "Harmonica Player of the Year" Peter Madcat Ruth teaches driving rhythms, percussive sounds and other dynamic back-up techniques that will help any blues harp player get an authentic blues sound. Through a series of interactive exercises, he breaks down the complexities of breath control, teaching his own unique system of spoken syllables. These building blocks are the basis for the foot-stomping drive that characterizes so many of the great harpists, from Sonny Boy Williamson to Sonny Terry, and will be a boon to all blues players.
