This book/CD set was created to help you have fun with the ukulele. It presents tuning, proper positioning, basic chords (C tuning), and folk songs for strumming and singing. The text and graphics are simple and very easy to comprehend, even for the absolute beginner. The book teaches rhythm accompaniment in several meters, and each song includes lyrics and a suggested strumming pattern. With the companion CD, you will have all the information you need to get started with your ukulele.
About the CD: Each lesson on the book has a demonstration track on the CD and you will hear direction from your instructor, Mel Bay, on how to play each exercise. This is a great set!
