This handy bassoon bocal and piccolo swab is designed to help extend the life of your instrument. This quality swab is sized perfectly to gently dry either the inside of your bassoon's bocal, or the body of your piccolo.
Moisture will damage your instrument quickly if it is not removed from the instrument before storage. This weighted swab eliminates the unwanted moisture from your instrument. Just drop the weight through the bore of the bassoon bocal or the body of the piccolo and pull the absorbent cotton swab through. As it passes through, the swab will absorb moisture and remove the build-up from inside your instrument.
Cleaning the swab is easy, as well. Just toss it in the washing machine! This is an accessory that every bassoon owner or piccolo player should use daily!
