| | Edward MacDowell - Mid-Summer - Sheet Music Edward MacDowell (1861-1908), a great American classical composer, lived in New Hampshire and also studied and worked in Europe. Among his noteworthy works was "New England Idyls, Op. 62". This composition, "Mid-Summer", for solo instrument and piano is part of Op. 62, and was transcribed by Billie Nastelin. In addition to the piano accompaniment, solo parts are included for: C treble clef (flute and oboe); B Flat treble clef (clarinet, trumpet, tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone); C bass clef (trombone, cello, bassoon); F treble clef (French horn); and E Flat treble clef (alto saxophone, baritone saxophone).
