| | Edison Denisov - Sonata For 2 Flutes
Edison Denisov was born in 1929 in Tomsk, Siberia. He initially went to college to study mathematics, but in 1951 he entered the world of music at the Moscow Conservatory. His understanding of mathematics actually assisted Denisov in his compositions, which sported excellent tonality and touching movements. "Sonate", which has been composed for 2 flutes, is one of the many masterpieces that Denisov wrote before his death in November, 1996. This arrangement has been imported from Alphonse Leduc in Paris, France, so that we could present you with the best possible transcription.
