This book is the song book (volume 2) for the "Fast Track Music Instruction Drums" series. The "FastTrack" series consists of two instruction books (volume 1 and volume 2) and two song books (volume 1 and volume 2). The method books focus on teaching you the basics (sticking, rhythm patterns, fills, styles) and the song books will help you apply what you learn in the method books to your real-life playing. The song books are FULL of "real" songs, like you hear on the radio. Each of the four books in the series INCLUDES a CD with demonstrations as well as play-along songs. We like this series a lot, and highly recommend it.
Notes about the CD: Each music example in the book is included on the CD, so you can hear how it sounds and play along when you are ready. Each example on the CD is preceded by one measure of "clicks" to indicate the tempo and meter.
