"The Magic Meadow" is a very easy, fun march. The rhythms consist of mostly half notes and quarter notes, with just a few eighth notes. Clarinets stay below the break, the highest note in the trumpet part is 3rd space C (the last note of the song). The highest note in the trombone part is A Flat, in the staff.
The joy and energy of this piece, combined with the limited technical demands, make "The Magic Meadow" an ideal concert piece for your Grade 1 band.
