David Bennett Thomas created this work and dedicated it to the memory of Aaron Copland, the well-known American composer. Thomas came across two of Copland's works and was amazed at the rhythmic qualities. This is a three movement work that relies on the texture, timbre, and color of the three different instruments. It is a work that will challenge all three members of the ensemble and is perfect for any setting. The product includes the parts for each player. The piano part reads like a conductor's score.
