Also if you do not have a large ensemble, the piece can still be performed because many of the bass parts are doubled and you will only need a few players on the low parts to provide an adequate sound. Technical Notes: The oboe, French horn, and bells parts are optional. The percussion 1 part is for snare drum and bass drum. The percussion 2 part is for hi-hat and sleigh bells. The piece has been scored so that any one or more of the bass clarinet, baritone saxophone, baritone TC or trombone/baritone BC/bassoon parts will provide enough bass support.
