Philip Sparke has won numerous awards for his compositions. This wonderful work features three dance-like Yiddish tunes. The first is a wedding dance, followed by a Jewish circle dance, and finally a German shepherd's dance. The rhythms are kind of tricky, so a little extra time will need to be spent on them. The melody is wonderful and it flows from one tune to the next. Phrasing and breath control can be worked on with this tune as well. It is a wonderful work that needs to be on your next concert.
