Mark Williams based this concert band arrangement of the dramatic patriotic standard "Battle Hymn Of The Republic" on an arrangement for choir by Jay Althouse. It can serve as a band accompaniment to the published choral versions (SATB, SAB, SSA, and 2-part), or can be performed by band alone by playing the cues. Be sure to select performence tempi carefully so that the fanfares, including thirty-second notes, can be articulated cleanly.
