Smith became a serious player early on in his musical life. In 1936, he performed 210 concerts in 105 days. After this feat, he auditioned for the Detroit Symphony and became the Principal Trumpet. Smith went on to record professionally as a cornet soloist for forty-five years. Our collection features twenty-one of Smith's favorite cornet solos. You are sure to enjoy this show!
