The Capitol Quartet is a saxophone quartet made up of professional musicians and teachers from the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland area. These four individuals are Anjan Shaw, Sheila Connor, Kenneth Foerch, and Irvin Peterson. All four have extensive, musical training and outstanding performance backgrounds. The ensemble has been together for many years. That is important in a small ensemble like this one. Each player understands the others musically. This will come across as you listen to this excellent recording. Add it to your collection today.
