Daniel Perantoni is one of the great tuba players in the world today. He has toured as a clinician, soloist, and with quintets all around the globe. He is currently a professor of music at Arizona State University. He has been featured at Carnegie Hall, the Monterey Jazz Festival, and many other places. He is a member of the St. Louis Brass Quintet, the Summit Brass, and the Matteson-Phillips Tubajazz Consort. These works really stretch the range and technical aspects of the tuba.
