This outstanding piece, "The White Rose", is a beautiful selection written in memory of conductor Bob Thompson. Filled with lots of flourishes and runs by both the trumpets and the woodwinds, this is an impressive piece with lots of color and expression. The ending of this piece is intense, using a combination of all of the instruments joining together for a common melody. This piece is breathtaking!

Technical Notes: The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th horn in parts are labeled "F / E Flat Horn". The 1st percussion part is for snare drum. The 2nd percussion part is for crash cymbals, suspended cymbal and tambourine. The 3rd percussion part is for glockenspiel and xylophone.
