They are all in the English language, and offer a "sampler" of American and British songs. These twentieth century pieces offer a variety of familiar repertoire, along with lesser known pieces. The composers have set their music to poetry from well-known poets, including Shakespeare, Frost, Stevenson, Cummings, and others.
