Fans of Italian Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi will rejoice at this discovery, a sonata for solo violin with bass accompaniment (usually meant for harpsichord at the date of composition, but can be done with piano) that was not discovered until 1979. Found in a side room at the BIBLIOTECA CIVICA "Angelo Mai", the piece is considered to be one of Vivaldi's least difficult works. It is a perfect introduction to Vivaldi's style and technique for any student of the violin.
