When composer Bill Whelan wrote the music for the musical dance production "Riverdance", he wanted to include everything he could to give the music that traditional Irish sound. This involved using all of the traditional Irish instruments such as fiddles, bodhrans and most importantly the pennywhistle! This book, "Selections From Riverdance" includes 12 rousing tunes from the show that have been specially selected and arranged for pennywhistle in D.
