The book devotes a chapter to each of these composers, discussing major works and also giving you a discography. Chapter one discusses the works of Holst: "First Suite in E-flat for Military Band", "Second Suite in F for Military Band", and "Hammersmith Prelude and Scherzo". Chapter two takes a look at Vaughan Williams and a few of his works: "English Folk Song Suite", "Sea Songs", and "Taccata Marziale". Chapter three is dedicated to Grainger's "Lincolnshire Posy", "Molly on the Shore", and "English Waltz". This book is perfect as a study guide, reference book, or a wonderful read into the works and lives of these composers.
