The Jazz Play-Along series lets you learn the music of the masters through transcriptions. There is also a great CD with both practice and performance versions of each song. This allows you to isolate your part or play along with a full band. "Bluesy Jazz", includes 10 blues classics for your enjoyment, with parts included for all C, B flat and E flat instruments.
About the CD: Each song in the book appears on this accompaniment CD two times. The first time is a demonstration track, so you know how the song should sound. The second time is a accompaniment track, so you can have a band playing behind you. The CD also features several tuning notes, so you will be right on pitch when you play.
