Those who remember the moving theme to the PBS series "The Civil War" by filmmaker Ken Burns will appreciate this folio of music. That theme is called "Ashokan Farewell" by composer Jay Ungar, and is presented here in an arrangement for violin and piano with optional guitar and bass parts. This unique folio also includes transcripts of the Sullivan Ballou letter and Lincoln's Gettysburg address that were prominently featured in the Ken Burns documentary.
