This book contains a collection of Latin American music that Bonnie Carol has arranged for the dulcimer. Some of it is traditional music, some by other composers, and some by Bonnie Carol herself. All of the pieces are arranged for hammered dulcimer and many for fretted dulcimer as well. The songs that are arranged for fretted dulcimer have the tunings listed along with the song titles and if there are no tunings listed, the songs are arranged for hammered dulcimer only. All of the pieces include chord symbols and melody lines. This music comes from various regions, and includes Mexican mariachi, Caribbean, marimba, tango, and Tex-Mex music. You will surely enjoy these south of the border selections.
