This three-part recorder method by John Pitts comes to you from England, and has become a popular method of recorder study around the world. It is intended for youngsters, beginning at approximately the age of seven. Full explanations of all of the information is provided, and no previous recorder or any other music knowledge is assumed. These three books are beautifully illustrated, and a wide variety of songs are included in each of them.
 
New rhythm patterns are presented in "Book Two", along with more notes, rest, pause, da capo signs and eighth, and sixteenth notes. Armed with this knowledge, the student is able to play the more interesting and complicated songs that they will find in this book.
