| | Nobuya Sugawa Presents: The Classical Collection
"The Classical Collection" gives saxophonists with a few years experience the opportunity to become acquainted with the classical repertoire that was composed before the invention of the saxophone. Our collection includes a variety of classical compositions from different style periods. The musical interpretation plays an important role, but a number of technical skills are also addressed.
On the CD, Nobuya Sugawa first plays each piece, followed by a play-along version that has been played on a real grand piano. Live interaction with a pianist will of course be more instructive!
