"Chovihano (Gypsy Healer)" was commissioned by the Los Angeles Flute Quartet in September 2003. It tells the story of the "Biti Foki", or forest elves that invade a gypsy teenager's contemplative state to help guide the young person to their "tacho dram" (true journey).
